“Speed Punk is a tool for modern font editors such as Glyphs andRoboFont that will illustrate the amount of curvature of glyph outlines.” A perfect shape according to Speed Punk is not necessarily a perfect shape, but I find this tool invaluable as a second opinion when I’m not sure what needs to happen with certain curves.

At €20.00 his is the first paid tool to be featured on this site, but IMO totally worth it.

Version Control

by Alexander Lubovenko

“Version Control allows saving the current glyph as version and managing these versions. For example, if you draw a glyph and doubt in correctness of current position you can save it as the version and continue drawing. Then, if necessary, return to any previous versions, manage them, compare with current or view all glyph revisions in SpaceCenter, replace the drawing of current glyph with version`s drawing or delete it.”

“Scaling Edit Tool for RoboFont is a mouse and keyboard controlled version of what are better known as Interpolated Nudge tools, made famous by Christian Robertson http://betatype.com/node/18. When moving oncurve points, offcurve points are scaled in relation to neighboring oncurve points. The tool works on both bicubic and quadratic bezier curves, and open and closed contours.”
